Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour with Mimark Tours and Safaris, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

Booking & Payments

– A deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking.
– The balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the start of the tour.
– Bookings made within 30 days of the start date must be paid in full upon confirmation.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • 10% cancellation fee if cancelled more than 90 days before the tour starts;
  • 30% cancellation fee if cancelled 60-89 days before the tour starts;
  • 60% cancellation fee if cancelled 30-59 days before the tour starts;
  • 80% cancellation fee if cancelled 8-29 days before the tour starts;
  • No refund if cancelled 0-7 days before the tour starts.

Travel Insurance

All clients are strongly advised to have travel insurance that covers personal injury, medical expenses, cancellation, and baggage loss.

Changes by Mimark Tours

We reserve the right to alter itineraries or accommodations due to conditions beyond our control (e.g. weather, road conditions, availability). Any changes will be of equal or greater value.

Health & Fitness

It is the responsibility of each client to ensure they are physically fit for the tour they have booked. Please consult your doctor before undertaking mountain climbs or strenuous safaris.

Liability

Mimark Tours and Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other service providers. While we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from any act or omission by third parties.

Visas & Travel Documents

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the correct visas, passports, and vaccinations prior to travel.

Complaints

Any complaints should be communicated to your guide or our office as soon as possible to give us the opportunity to resolve the issue promptly.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
